Itead Stabilizer Shield for Arduino with Accelerometer Gyro L298 is a very compact arrangement for making self balancing robot.

Stabilizer Shield is an expansion board for Arduino, which adopts high precision 6-axis accelerometer and Gyroscope sensor (MPU6050). with this there is an on-board chip L298P which is a high voltage, high current dual full-bridge driver designed to accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors. Also included is a buzzer.

What’s more, with a standard XBee socket that can connect Bluetooth or WiFi module (available seperately), users can use this stabilizer shield with Arduino to make some project like stabilizer car, self balancing robot,  robot car and so on.
